Guide at the Threshold

Amber’s Story

This work didn’t come from a plan, and it doesn’t begin with one either.

It came from walking through my own crossings.

It begins in the moments when something in your life quietly stops fitting. Even if nothing on the outside has changed.

Like many of the women I now work with, I had built a life that was working.

You may recognize parts of your own story here—a life that works on the outside, yet something deeper no longer fits. A quiet, but demanding hunger for a more natural way of living.

I spent years inside the clinical world—psychotherapy, psychiatry, and integrative medicine—doing work I deeply believed in. I also built a successful entrepreneurial path that was creative, engaging, and meaningful.

And still, something in me began to feel restless.

Not broken. Not wrong.

But incomplete.

I had created my dream life. But internally, something deeper was asking to emerge.

I stayed longer than I needed to.

Waiting for the “right time.”

Continuing within structures that had once supported me, but no longer fit. Ignoring the hum, under the guise of “just a little while longer.”

Until the ground beneath me shifted.

What followed was a period of purposeful unraveling—grief, disorientation, and a deep reckoning with the life I had built and the truth I could no longer ignore.

Yet the wildness and freedom I longed for, what called to me beyond the threshold, kept my spirits intact. I was unwilling to return to what no longer resonated.

As I gave myself the time and space I needed in this transition, I saw that the life that had worked for so long was no longer the life that was true.

And no amount of insight, achievement, or effort could replace the need to listen—deeply—to what was emerging.

That process changed everything.

Not by giving me a new identity, but by returning me to something more honest, more grounded, and more alive.

Amber’s Work

Now, I guide women at these same thresholds.

Women who have built full lives—and feel the quiet, or not so quiet, knowing that something is shifting.

Women who can no longer abandon themselves to maintain what no longer fits.

This work is not about fixing you.

It is not about optimization, productivity, or becoming someone new.

It is about creating space to listen more closely to what is already within you—and supporting you as that begins to take shape in your life.

I work relationally, intuitively, and with deep respect for the complexity of being human.

Sometimes the work is reflective and clarifying.

Sometimes it is more embodied, creative, or deeply felt.

But always, it is rooted in truth.

I am not here to compete with the other voices in your life or tell you what to do.

My role is different.

I create a space where you can step out of performance, pressure, and expectation—and reconnect to what is actually true for you.

From that place, decisions become clearer, more aligned, and more sustainable. Not just effective or expected.

I don’t see this work as leaving your life behind.

I see it as returning to the deeper compass that shaped it in the first place.

It is about returning to what has always been there.

I look forward to serving as a guide, witness and companion to your unfolding. A midwife to following your soul calling and reveling in your entire story.

For those who want to know more about my background and training, you can explore that here.

You don’t have to walk this threshold alone.

There are seasons in life when something deeper begins to emerge.

The roles that once fit no longer hold the whole of who you are becoming.

In these moments, thoughtful companionship and embodied guidance

can help you listen for the deeper orientation already unfolding within you.
